One of J.P.'s birthday requests was to get together with his friends to play baseball.  So, this past Sunday we hosted a "Baseball Barbecue" for J.P.'s friends and their families at a nearby park.  It rained Sunday morning and early afternoon and we thought we may have to reschedule the party.  But, we decided to have it anyway and we got really muddy, but it was warm and nobody seemed to mind the mud.  After playing baseball and eating hot dogs all the children lined up to try to knock down our homemade pinatas.  One of J.P's friends knocked it down after everyone tried one or two times.  It was pretty exciting as the candy (that J.P. and Mary Rachel wrapped in tin-foil) came out.  Everyone seemed to have a great time and everyone went home needing a bath.
